Evernote is an online note taking tool. It's an online version of our classic notebooks. I think many people would really enjoy this tool but I prefer to write. Something about writing rather than typing engraves the information in my brain more effectively. I would give it 4/5 stars because although I do not prefer this method of note taking, it's still a really great tool. It is very organized and easy to use. I probably won't be using it in the future since I prefer to write.

A digital footprint is the information about us as individual people that exists on the internet based on our online activity. A digital Citizen is those who use the internet regularly and effectively to engage in things such as society, politics, social media, etc. As much as we all love to share our lives through social media, that can put us in a dangerous situation. Anything and everything that you put on the internet is there forever for anyone to see even if it's deleted or posted on a "private account". Nothing you share on the internet is truly private, not even the texts we send. I personally had a very eye-opening experience proving that fact when I had sent text messages about needing to look for a cheap used car and all of a sudden all of my advertisements on Safari, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube were for used car businesses. I hadn't even gone onto the "internet" to look at anything to do with the cars yet my phone still knew I was on the search. I think in knowing this information about how truly exposed we are when it comes to technology we all need to be more cautious about what we type or click on our phones and computers.   

september 22, 2017 // social bookmarking

I have really enjoyed learning about social bookmarking. I have always used bookmarks on things such as Safari and Google Chrome for things such as concert tickets or clothes that I want to get back to at some point or websites like the Blue Valley homepage and Google Photos that I have to go to a lot but I never knew there were things like Symbaloo where you can customize and store every website you want. I think it's really cool that we have the ability to do bookmark like this with different categories, and customized backgrounds. I think social bookmarking makes sharing and saving the things you want really easy!

To make this business card, banner and flyer I used Lucidpress. I think Canva is easier to use but in my opinion, Lucidpress allows me to make my creations more customized. I chose to do a dance and voice school because those are two things I'm very passionate about and would love to teach to more people and experience them growing a passion like my own. This business is located at a studio in downtown KC because I love the environment i n the city. We provide classes for all levels of dance and voice. Students will be able to enroll in dance classes once they reach the age of two which will be a "mommy & me" class until they are four and start the beginner classes. Students will be able to enroll in voice lessons at age 10 because at that point in time your voice begins going through changes and will be able to grow.

lucidpress creations

This magazine cover and motivational poster were created using the wed design tool Lucidpress. I would give this website 4 out of 5 starts. I really like the templates they provide as well as the ability to make the background, text, etc. any color possible; that as not available on Canva which I used previously. I was able to easily make a magazine cover that looked very professional and authentic. I would recommend Lucidpress to anyone who wanted a hassle free, quick way to design.  

septemper 12, 2017 gratitude

I have many things to be thankful for but today a few of those things have really been on my mind. The one thing that I never take for granted is my friends. I have the most amazing friends anyone could ask for an i wouldn't trade them for the world. No matter what they are there to lift me up and make me forget anything that could possibly be upsetting me or overwhelming me. I find so much happiness through them and couldn't thank them enough for the light they bring to my life. 

canva creations

This poster and magazine cover were both created using the design website, Canva. If I had to rate the website I would give it 4 stars, there are very few things I can think of that would, in my opinion, improve this website. I like Canva a lot and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fast and easy way to create custom images like he ones I made above. It's very straight forward and simple to follow. My favorite part is the ability it gives you to truly customize the projects and make them your own, for example: the motivational quote that is posted below started as a template that included a picture (from the Canva library) and a quote from Theodore Roosevelt but I was able to replace the original quote with a quote I wrote, and replace the original picture with a picture i drew. Canva sets you up with whatever you need making it unbelievably easy to use.
